THE MANIPULATIVE THERAPY DIPLOMA COURSE Information for the course beginning in 2012 will be ready soon. The Manipulative Therapy Diploma Course is currently the highest award offered by the Northern Institute. Applicants must already possess NIM's Advanced Remedial Massage Diploma or hold an equivalent qualification with evidence of successful clinical experience. The Northern Institute has taught its Manipulative Therapy course for over thirty years under the guidance of such illustrious practitioners as Keith Brimelow and the late Stan Duncombe, who set the standards for so many therapists. This Diploma has a theoretical homestudy component, attendance at required seminars and is examined by a written examination and an external examiner for practical assessment. The Course is currently on offer at Cork, Londonderry and Bury. Kieran Corcoran is the principal tutor at Cork and contributes to the course at Bury. Joint (Paul Kzrok) and Spinal and Vertebral Mobilisations (Professor Graham Smith at Bury only in 2012), Radiology (Cork only in 2012).
